FLOAT was asked to create a headquarters for a young, fun, rapidly growing company focused on disrupting the mattress industry. The space needed to reflect a quickly evolving brand, and culture, with very specific programming/ team requirements. The creation of a central hub or "Townhall" for conversation, collaboration and presentation was the most important add from their previous offices.. The plan was to account for several stages of growth. Budget was also a concern - construction needed to be targeted to areas with maximum impact to manage overall cost.

The result -  dream-like, bright, and  airy for a company focused on sleep.

Design CONCEPT

MAIN FLOOR (DAY): Blue stained and natural oak volumes were designed to divide the space. Custom colored cork flooring was used throughout for acoustics and to brighten up the central space. New warm LED lighting was used throughout at various heights for a warm, residential feel. Casper's brand blue was used sparingly for impact where needed at reception desk (in felt), and main the conference room table. The remainder of the space remains soft and ethereal.

PENTHOUSE (NIGHT): For maximum impact with minimal spend, walls, ceiling went blue. Furniture was selected for flexible use, flexible partitions allow for multiple meetings in confined space.
