Remote Intensive:
A remote skill-building workshop that coaches young designers through a real-world client brief.
Over the course of 2 weeks, designers will produce a floorplan, a concept, and include furniture selection and design development communicating a good general vision while receiving one-on-one feedback each day from professional designers at Float Studio.
Admissions are rolling and as this program is remote, there is some flexibility to the start. Those chosen for the program will receive a $300 stipend and access to the related design software.
We aim to give up and coming designers from marginalized communities a footing in the industry by providing an accurate feel for client work and the commercial design process, highlighting areas of both interest and potential growth.

- are rising Juniors or Seniors in college majoring in Architecture or Interior Design OR have graduated from a 2-year program in those fields
- have access to a computer that can run Zoom and Adobe CC
- are New York City based, as there may be in-person shadowing opportunities over the course of the program
